Regardless of your years of experience this course is designed to improve your teaching methods and refresh your Spanish, whilst enjoying the city of Salamanca and discovering something new and exciting!
The scholarship includes all program fees of instruction, social and cultural activities, and airport transfers Madrid-Salamanca-Madrid. Applicants will only be responsible for their accommodation, which we can help to organise.
The scholarships are available for 1 or 2 weeks and are for non-native Spanish teachers currently working in America.
The course consists of 4 daily lessons. The first one is dedicated to review grammatical structures and analyze different teaching methods used to teach these structures. In the second lesson we examine the concept of teaching and learning Spanish as a second language.
The third and fourth lessons are workshops which include communication techniques, original ways of using language laboratories, the use of new technologies in language learning and teaching, and the creation of “personal teaching materials”.
Participants must send an application letter explaining their main reasons to participate in the program, their preferred dates to participate, an updated CV (including information of their experience as educators) and a letter from their Head of Department explaining their teaching responsibilities.
