There are loads of exhibitions going on! Salamanca is lucky enough to have plenty of exhibition rooms all over the city. In the Museo of Old Cars there is an exhibition on the “Pioneers of the Autocar : Dion Bouton”, found just across the river behind the cathedral. In the Museum Casa Lis, also behind the Cathedral, there’s an exhibition of the work of Alphonse Mucha called “Seduction, Modernity and utopia”.

Down in the Plaza San Boal there’s the exhibition hall of the Caja Duero where you can have a look at the “Creators of the 20th Century“, and nearby in the Plaza de los Bandos there’s “100 years of María Auxiliadora“.

The Cathedral of Salamanca has it’s own special exhibition. Normally you can take a trip around the old and new cathedral with the project Ieronimus, including walking around on the roof where you have some of the best views of Salamanca! During this festival the Cathedral‘s going to be open from 10 am to 8 pm celebrating 900 years of history and art in the Towers of the Cathedral! It’s a great chance to go and find out more about the gorgeous cathedral.

Salamanca isnn’t the only city celebrating festivals though, if you’re joining us in Granada or Sevilla you won’t miss out either. They are celebrating at the moment the Fiesta of Corpus!
