This weekend is the final of the Queen’s Cup (La Copa de la Reina) in Female Basketball in Spain, in Salamanca! 
8 teams from 8 different cities have played for the cup and the final this weekend is taking place in the Multiusos Sánchez Paraíso Sportshall.
The event is nearly completely sold out and people are coming from all over Spain to see the last game. The final is this Sunday, the 8th of March, which coincides with the the International Women’s Day. From today the city is going to be full of competitors and people coming to watch!

What’s more, the International Federation of Basketball in Spain has organized the “Final Four” of the European Female League on the 3rd to the 5th of April, also in Salamanca! The Salamancan club Perfumerías Avenida who are in the European semi finals, will play in the Final Four in Salamanca, against the 3 other best teams in Europe!
The event will also take place in the Multiusos Sánchez Paraiso Sportshall, and will be on the 3-5 April.
Castile and Leon hasn’t had a sporting event this important since 1982! To make the finals available to everyone the city is going to make the ticket prices as economicable as possible.
